I am a highly accomplished former Pharmacy Director with over thirty-five years of leadership experience with twenty-five as a hospital Pharmacy Director. My background includes achieving profitability, process improvement for increased productivity and patient valued outcomes, reduction in employee turnover, change management, standards implementation.

I was born in Zillah Washington and moved with my family to Ellensburg in 1979. I’ve been married to Donna for 8 Leap Years. Yes, our anniversary is on February 29th every four years. We have one daughter and two grandchildren who live on the West side of our state in Orting. We currently live on small acreage in the county which is covered with timber and borders the National Forest. My work history is not glamorous but honest work. I was raised around agriculture in Zillah. I paid for my College at Washington State University working for the USDA as a fruit and vegetable inspector during the summers. During my college years I worked as an aid in the local hospital in Moscow ID.

I help implement several programs that our community is currently benefiting from one of the highlights is our Hospice program. I was on the board for the supporting volunteer agency Hospice Friends until I left the hospital in 2012. In 2011 changes at the hospital required me to take my career out of the community for a few years where I was the Director of Pharmacy at Whidbey General Hospital and the Pharmacy Manager for Wenatchee Valley Community Hospital and their Oncology Infusion Center. In 2016 my career brought me back to my roots in Kittitas County. I now am a staff pharmacist for the Bi-Mart Corporation.
